stuck in traffic

that's right-- Mitch is somewhere between home and and the hurricane stuck in traffic. He was brought in today (about 5pm he called) from his deep water platform. i'm very greatful that he is on the ground and NOT in the deep water of the Gulf of Mexico!! Don't know when i will actually SEE him but he is on the way..... hope he stops and eats before he gets here! or he will have a fabulous ham sandwich :) But he will be HOME.

Hurricane Party

Not really but it sounded good. I have done all i'm going to do. I picked up "hurricane" supplies, called my Mom and Aunt Sue to let them know me and my little people WOULD be staying with them and i had food. What more could I ask for. Hurricane Party in Meadville @ Disfunction Junction! going to hang out play cards, do a little scrapbooking, work on the Arnold family cookbook and eat good. Lights or no lights we will have a great time.
Mitch is out in the "BIG POND". They will more than likely bring him in on Friday. He works in deep water on production in the Gulf of Mexico. This time of the year i seem to watch the weather more than normal. He has been off-shore since before we were married and Praise the LORD-- God has always Kept Mitch Safe. Thank you Father for watching over Mitch.
Praying that this Hurricane is not as bad as predicted and WE all know that with GOD that is possible. Payton came SCREAMING in the house "i've been bite, i've been bite".
I'm sreaming back-" stop screaming & sit down and shut up!! What bite you? I'm thinking SNAKE. it just finished raining they, PAyton and Drew are playing in the yard, SNAKE and probably a big on.
Payton replies " a wasp, momma, a wasp stung me"
i reply "ok where is Drew? " (he is allergic to WASP).
Payton- "he is coming in to "
AS Drew walks in that stupid wasp stung him and ME!!
So one WASP and 3 stings. We were all stung on the leg. The WASP is DEAD, i killed him myself!

do you ever....

Do you ever wonder what? What made someone say something? do something? go somewhere? I have had one of those weeks where I wonder "WHAT" am i missing something?
Just wanted to share my confusion with you.... that's what friends are for right?

home alone

Yep- that's me! dropped my little people off for the first day of school and it was raining so that i didn't even get a picture :( Today is Drew's 1st day of K-4 @ parklane and Payton is in the 5th grade. I'm a little excited to have the house to MYSELF but it sure is quiet in here the only noise is the rain. Hope all of you have a BLESSED day. i've got of list of things to accomplish now that i'm home alone @ least for a few months.

You got it. not much going on here. things here have been slow today. we haven't done much at all. i have loved it but my little people HAVE NOT. They have been, i believe, the word was "BORED". But i found the day to be nice and relaxing. Tomorrow Drew goes and meets his K-4 teacher. that's exciting and at the same time very SAD for me. Hope you all have a great day 2morrow.

the first little person came this weekend, Friday, August 1, 2008, Miss Allie Elizabeth became the newest member of the Bunch. She's a cutie weighing in @ 7 pounds and 15 ounces and is 19 1/2 inches long, i think those are right. One down two to go. Heather will have the next one in November, around the 15th and then i'll supply # 3 on December 16. WOW!!! what a busy next few months thank the GOOD LORD that the Bonding is over till next year. Lots of new babies. :) Drew and I really liked playing and holding the new baby, made me excited about #3 not about changing the diapers!!!

Sharon texted me and said that Payton was having a BLAST @ camp! @ the time she was just getting off the "zip line" ! Payton is all about go and being busy. I'm glad she an active, get up and move kinda girl. However she loves her purses and shoes too. I think she is very diverse and I'm VERY Proud of her. She Starts the 5th grade this year and that may scare me to death!!! She makes great grades and does it with out any help.

I was @ Sharon's beauty shop in Bude, MS with: Angie, Jenny, DeeDee, Syd, Malisa, Katie and Christi all getting beautified for my wedding. That's it. 11 years ago today Mitch and I got married. WOW!! August 2, 1997 @ Providence Baptist Church, Meadville, MS.

I Hope your Memory of 11years ago is as SWEET and Special as mine! :)

Going to camp... AGAIN

Remember Payton she will be going to her final camp (she has already been to centriKIDS & G.A. camp). This week she is going to Lake Forest Ranch. Miss Sharon Cauthen, Payton, Chance Wroten and Carsyn Webb from our church will leave this morning and be back TUESDAY, August 5! I know they will all have fun.

decisions decisions....

did i mention that Tuesday, August 5, i go back to the doctor. I'm schedulled for another ultrasound. More to make sure everything is ok (and it should be) and i CAN find out what the baby is. Now for the decision: tomorrow, Aug. 2, is our anniversary. Originally i was going to find out and tell Mitch that after 11 years you have a daughter, son and a _____. But the baby is due December 23 and we meaning ME wil have a c-section on Dec. 16. What an awesome CHRISTmas present. Right? so do i wait or do i find out. i personally want to wait and there will be at least one more ultrasound in Nov. i think....
Drew really wants a baby brother and Payton really doesn't want another boy, she wants a girl. Drew has already named the baby brother--Jake. I have no clue where that came from. at least it wasn't: spiderman, noddy, Austin or tyrone from the Backyardigans or some other cartoon name. anyway i guess i'll decide for sure on Tuesday, August 5 and let you know.
