Drew Bradlee

Yesterday was Very CRaZy! We got up little people had breakfast. Payton went to "get dressed"-- she is going into the 6th grade (that is a whole new post--LOL). Drew went out to play. I was going to "jump" in the shower and head to town. I heard Drew SCREAMING like crazy and yelling for me. A wasp had stung him above his lip!! and it looked horrible already. i threw on clothes , called the doctor, gave him Benadryl and headed out the door. Anyway, Drew was taken right on back to the procedure room and received an Epinephrine shot and a steroid shot. Dr. Holland and the nurses were Wonderful!! But they are always great with my children. Poor baby, they gave him a Sprite to drink and he was so swollen that he could not drink with the straw. i did take a picture after we returned home.... it does NOT do the situation Justice at all.
Today-- he is better. Bless is little heart he is Still SWolleN.

That happened to Sam a couple of years ago. Because of his ant allergy I wasn't sure what would happen. I flew to Dr. Larkins thru stop signs & all...

He was drinking a coke outside @ the school and a yellow jacket got down in the can and stung him inside his lip. It didn't cause his throat to close, thank goodness, but you couldn't tell where his nose ended and his lips began! Hope Drew is feeling much better now!
